Casaundra Newcomb is the author and creator of Ninja Tiger Racecar Driver. She loves building imaginative worlds filled with adventure, courage, humor, and heart. Inspired by her sons, Logan and Boston, Casaundra writes stories that encourage children to believe in themselves, appreciate what makes them unique, and remember that kindness can be its own kind of superpower.

Ninja Tiger Racecar Driver is her first children's book and the beginning of the Golden Gear Books collection. When she is not writing or designing new characters, Casaundra enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her dogs, and finding inspiration in the mountains and wildlife surrounding her California home.

Her hope is that every child who reads Taro's story will remember: Be brave enough to begin, kind enough to listen, humble enough to help, and proud of the special gifts only you can share.
